Design (R&D)

Many variables must be taken into account to successfully convert a customer's specifications and drawings into a finished part. Our full-time engineering department utilizes advanced technology and ensures design functionality when prototyping, processing and engineering your concepts. We use the latest sheet metal processing software, such as AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Striker Systems and PlasmaCAM to refine your part before production begins.

We develop prototypes from drawings quickly and precisely. After the prototype is fabricated, it is scrutinized to ensure specified compliance is achieved. Our engineers thoroughly examine the component in order to improve production quality, functionality, and cost. All of our hard work up-front allows us to produce a component that performs flawlessly.

Research & Development

In many fields, there is great uncertainty as to whether a new design will actually do what is desired. New designs often have unexpected problems. A prototype is often used as part of the product design process to allow engineers and designers the ability to explore design alternatives, test theories and confirm performance prior to starting production of a new product. Engineers use their experience to tailor the prototype according to the specific unknowns still present in the intended design. For example, some prototypes are used to confirm and verify consumer interest in a proposed design whereas other prototypes will attempt to verify the performance or suitability of a specific design approach.

In general, an iterative series of prototypes will be designed, constructed and tested as the final design emerges and is prepared for production. With rare exceptions, multiple iterations of prototypes are used to progressively refine the design. A common strategy is to design, test, evaluate and then modify the design based on analysis of the prototype.

Our 160 Ton press brake comes equiped with a CNC controller to accurately and repeatably form complex parts with multiple bends at varying angles.  With a 10' long bed our press brake can easily accomodate standard sheet lengths.

CNC Plasma Cutting

From complex metal art to multiples of industrial components, our CNC Plasma table c/w Hypertherm power source will get the job done accurately.  With a 5' x 10' bed we're able to cut very large parts or many small parts.  Aluminum, mild steel, stainless steel, copper, bronze, brass, etc.  If it's metal we can cut it.
